At The Baker’s Grove we strive to create high-quality, hand-crafted, made-from-scratch pastries and desserts that celebrate seasonal and local ingredients as much as possible. We visit local farms, orchards, and markets to pick out the freshest and best tasting produce available, as well as growing herbs, edible flowers and small fruits and vegetables in our garden.
Some of our signature items include croissants, cinnamon rolls, salted chocolate chunk cookies, seasonal tarts, and fruit and cream brioche. We also offer colorful macarons in different seasonal flavors each week, which have become very popular.
Our reversible dough sheeter has been a “must-have” piece of equipment to produce a large volume of croissants and other laminated doughs in a quick and efficient manner and keep everything consistent. Our larger 60- and 80-quart mixers have also been indispensable for producing larger volume batters and doughs.
Secret of Success
What has helped the shop achieve success is the quality of our products over the quantity we offer. Many bakeries in the area have a much larger selection, but we have narrowed down the offerings to create the best pastries and desserts consistently. Another thing that has helped us to stand out is some of our unique flavor pairings that you do not find in other bakeries around here.
We would love to expand upon our savory offerings and utilize even more seasonal and local ingredients to help support more local farms as we move forward.
