Guittard Chocolate Studio Announces New Guest Chef Classes

Under the direction of Guittard Executive Pastry Chef Donald Wressell, the Guittard Chocolate Studio in Los Angeles CA offers hands-on workshops with prominent pastry chefs, chocolatier and bakers for a unique opportunity to learn new skill, finesse techniques or expand chocolate knowledge.

The Guittard Chocolate Studio is excited to announce two new guest chef classes of  chef classes featuring renowned chefs Michael Lasikonis and Plamien Marniov. These classes will offer a unique opportunity for participants to learn from the best in the industry and explore innovative and exciting pastry and ice cream creations.

Chef Michael Laiskonis, award winning pastry chef of Les vergers Boiron will be leading a class on June 3, 2025, focusing on fruit-forward bakery applications. Chef Laiskonis will explore optimizing citrus, tropical, orchard and red fruits within a range of contemporary and classic baked items.

Chef Plamen Marniov will be hosting two 1 day workshops on a Frozen Desserts & Novelties on July 14 & 15 2025. Chef Marniov, with his deep understanding of frozen desserts, will guide participants through the creation of artisan ice cream, gelato, and sorbet recipes using high-quality ingredients like chocolate; fresh fruit; nuts and cheese.
